The role:
 
With emphasis on attaining sales targets and building business relationships, you will manage your own specialist recruitment section supplying legal professionals to a host of clients.   Our clients include law firms of all sizes, to major companies and public sector organisations.
 
Your duties will include business development, client meetings, tendering for business, candidate sourcing, interviewing and recruitment selection.


Our requirements:
 
We have a number of requirements in our Birmingham, office and are seeking experienced and trainee consultants.
 
As an experienced consultant you will have been expected to have run a successful desk in professional recruitment.
 
Your experience should include using sales, business development and marketing techniques in order to attract business from clients; building relationships with clients; advertising vacancies; running retained campaigns. Preparing CVs and corresponding with clients, interviewing candidates at a high level, negotiating salaries; undertaking the offer management process and supplying market information to candidates and clients.  You will also have experience of networking. And a track record of generating placements and revenue.
As a Trainee you will be well educated, ideally to graduate level. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to adapt to the demands of a challenging sales environment.
 
A Legal background is desirable but not essential.
 
A full UK driving licence is required.
 
Training & development:
 
You will attend formal training sessions with our in-house Learning & Development team, in addition to daily coaching, guidance and support from your line manager and more experienced team members.
