Banking/Finance Litigation Solicitor 7+ PQE

Description:

Our client, a leading Watford firm, is looking to hire a 7+ PQE Banking and Finance Litigation Lawyer. They will be responsible for managing a caseload of commercial litigation for High Street lenders and other financial institutions.
 
The work covers the full spectrum of claims for and against banks including complex recoveries, claims on security and guarantees, defending claims for breach of mandate and breach of trust, fraud, and operational loss. There is also a significant element of professional indemnity work for banks and financial institutions including claims against solicitors, valuers and surveyors. The clients are well known blue- chip institutions and our instructions are from in house legal teams. The workload is varied and diverse but always challenging.
                     
Required Skills

- Proven relevant general commercial litigation experience gained within a City firm (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to develop strong business/client relationships.
- Ability to work independently & flexibly
- Strong academic background
- Circa 7 years PQE
- Proven marketing & networking experience
- Excellent communication skills
