Our client, a local authority based in the North West, is currently looking to recruit a childcare legal officer to join their team on a part-time locum basis for a minimum period of 6 months. The ideal candidate must have experience of childcare law, and will have worked within private practice looking to make the first move into local authority childcare work, or those with previous experience in a similar role in local authority looking for a new challenge. As a childcare legal officer you will be required to assist with Child Protection work and related proceedings. You will be required to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, totalling 18.5 hours per week, however this can be negotiable for the ideal candidate.
