Description: | Our client, a local authority based in the North West, are currently recruiting for an experienced prosecutions lawyer to join their team on a locum basis for a minimum period of 3 months. The ideal applicant will be an experienced prosecutions lawyer, preferably with previous experience gained from within a local authority setting. The position will involve handling a full caseload of mainly prosecution and regulatory work, though the ability to deal with licensing and civil litigation would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate must be able to provide a professional advisory, litigation and advocacy service within an area of expertise, and to manage a caseload of legal matters, attend court and tribunals.
